Don Quinn; Vice President, NATSO Services
Quinn was first introduced to travel centers as a truck driver, working for a Nebraska-based carrier that had 48 state authority. That gave him insight on a very personal level into a travel center’s function. Later, he started working for Sapp Bros. pumping fuel on the fuel islands. Since then, he held almost every job within the industry, ultimately being promoted to president of Sapp Bros. During that time, he also served on NATSO’s Board and as its chairman for three years. Darren Schulte, Vice President, Membership
Schulte has first-hand experience within the industry having held management positions at several truckstop and travel plaza locations. He also worked with one of the country’s largest industry suppliers before joining NATSO. Today he shares his expertise with members through site reviews, offering suggestions on how operators can boost sales and improve their customers’ experiences. He is responsible for developing or enhancing NATSO products, services and/or programs, particularly those relating to education, research and training for travel plaza operators.
